Welcome

I am really pleased as the Head Teacher to be able to welcome you to the Albany Junior School website. I cannot believe I have been here for 10 years in a range of different roles. In that time lots has changed and the school has gone from strength to strength. We have an excellent team of staff that deliver a broad and balanced curriculum and a fabulous set of enrichment activities which help prepare our children for the next stage of their education. This is all underpinned by our 5Rs (Taking a Risk, Building Resilience, Building Positive Relationships, Showing Respect and Taking Responsibility).

We are very proud of our children. They have a great start at our Albany Collaboration partners (Albany Infant and Nursery School) and we work very hard with our parents and carers to ensure they make the necessary progress (academically and socially) whilst with us at the juniors. We have very high expectations of our children as do they of us.

We look forward to the year ahead and all of the exciting opportunities that will come our way.
