Our next school council meeting will take place on Friday 16th November 1-2.10pm.
We will be looking at:
- Reviewing anti-bullying week
- Fundraisers in December
- Reading areas
Last academic year, school councillors designed and put together an anti-bullying policy, which had accessible language in.
I am very pleased to say that this has now been rolled out to current school councillors and has been fed back to classes.
This has been emailed out to parents and is displayed on the school website under School Council and School policies.
Well done to pupils who were voted by their peers to be school councillors!
Year 6 - Palvy
Year 5 - Joshua, Joanna
Year 4 - Kian, Sara,
Year 3 school councillors will be voted for after Christmas and then will start attending meetings.
School councillors have been extremely busy today. They have been working with Will this morning and Sarah this afternoon from the TETC team from NCC. They have been planning and working hard all day to put together their initial ideas for their rap video. The ideas are great but we can't give away too much until the finished product!
This is something that the Rights Respecting Schools Ambassadors and play leaders will be working on throughout this half term.
