Football

In the 2023/2024 academic year, Albany Junior have further established the reignition of the school football team. Last year, we enjoyed 3 friendlies, losing 2 games and drawing 1, whilst finishing 5th in a group of 8 in the annual Broxtowe tournament. 

We are extremely proud this year to continue our year 5/6 boys team but, thanks to a few girls, we now have began our girls football club, attracting the attention of 29 girls over two lunch time clubs. We are hoping to establish the team in the coming months and we are also looking to get some fixtures together for next term.
