Attendance

Miss Frost is the Business Manager at Albany Junior School and is the Lead for Attendance. She works closely with the Head Teacher Mrs Goffin, Upper School Lead Miss Hubert and Lower School Lead Mrs Marshall to ensure that attendance is excellent across the school. Mrs Sturgess assists with monitoring absences and recording lateness. We feel at Albany Junior School that attendance is hugely important - remember every minute late is a minute less of learning. 5 minutes each day is nearly 2 hours a month! 

If you have any concerns about your child's attendance, or if they are struggling with arriving on time, we have several pathways in place to help support you and your child with this. Mental health and wellbeing is at the forefront of what we do and we have programmes in place that offer a variety of support from counselling to social and emotional wellbeing.
