Welcome to Cedar

We are a class of Year 6 pupils and there are 24 of us in total. Our class teacher is Mrs Osborne and we are supported by Mrs Ellis. 

Spring Term

Currently we are learning about The Mayas and the Aztecs. Our book this term is 'The Hero Twins, against the Lords of Death'. So far this term we have learnt about Ancient Civilisations and have placed the period of time studied on a timeline. We are beginning to learn about The Maya people and how they spoke the Mayan Language. 

We know they were scholars, who used their own written hieroglyphic text, mathematicians and astronomers.
