  Programme of Activities

  This is a rough outline of activities and timings, which might change.

   

  Day 1

  9:30 - Introduction & Game

            Pitch Tents & Move In

            Bushcraft - Make a campfire and prepare dinner

  18:30 - Campfire, Songs, Hot Chocolate & Marshmallows

  20:00 - Evening Games

  21:00 - Bed Time

   

  Day 2

  08:00 - Breakfast

  09:00 - Team Building Challenges

  11:00 - Scavenger Hunt

  11:45 - Bushcraft

  12:30 - School or Packed Lunch

  13:30 - Take Down Tents

  14:30 to 15:00 - Final Competition and Close Camp

   

  What to Bring:

  Please ensure your child has ALL of the following items with them for the camp. Items should be packed in a small holdall or rucksack type bag.

   

  1.  Sleeping Bag & Roll Mat
  2.  Plate, Bowl, Cup & Cutlery
  3.  Water Bottle
  4.  Torch
  5.  Waterproofs, Hat/Gloves
  6.  Warm Coat / Warm Sweatshirt/Jumper/Fleece
  7.  Sun Hat and Sun Cream
  8.  Personal Washing Kit and Small Towel – Don’t forget your toothbrush!
  9.  Nightwear – warm & practical
  10. Spare Shoes (no sandals or flip flops)
  11. Full Change of Clothes
  12. Plastic Bag for dirty/wet clothes
  13.  Inhaler/Medication

  What can I say? I am delighted to announce that we have reached our target. Thank you to everyone who has supported the fundraising efforts, whether you have had your face painted, brought ice creams, brought raffle tickets or thrown wet sponges. Year 6 and I are eternally grateful to you all!
