  • Day for Change Update!

Fri 26 May 2017 Miss Gibson

Day for Change: 24th May 2017

On Wednesday 24th May we took part in the UNICEF Day for Change. This year we were hoping to reach our target of £400 - to provide 16 malnourished children with a month's supply of life-saving emergency food.

On the day children wore blue and donated a £1.00 for the privilege. During morning break the Rights Respecting Ambassadors and staff ran a cake sale. We are also ran a class competition SMALL CHANGE: BIG DIFFERENCE. The class collecting the largest amount of small change was 6G and the class who created the best design from the money collected was 5M. Well done to both classes, who have received their reward this afternoon.

I'm delighted to tell you that we beat our target, raising money as follows.....

    Non Uniform - £164
    Cake Sale - £97.45
Small Change: Big Difference - £149.33

    Giving a total of £410. 78

Thank you for everyone's support in making the event such a success. Miss Gibson & The Rights Respecting Ambassadors
