Another week has flown by. This week, we have written a balanced argument about why we think it is or is not a good idea to go and explore unchartered territories, having learned about Jossi Ghinsberg last term. We have also located physical and human features a little closer to home in Scotland. We loved seeing how our batiks turned out in art and evaluated them. We are looking forward to finding out more next week.

We have had our second DARE session in Year 6 this week.  Despite touching on some delicate subjects, everyone is listening and contributing well.  We even have DARE question boxes which some of the children have decorated and they now look fantastic.  In PE, we have been practising different sports day events.  Space hoppers in the rain was certainly interesting and a little entertaining!  Hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend.

This week it has been fantastic to have the children back in school after the holidays. We've certainly enjoyed the sunshine! They have worked especially hard on assessments but have also enjoyed finishing the art topic by using ink on their waxed designs. They look fantastic.
