Year 5 Latest News
Fri 15 Oct 2021In RE this week, we have found out about the work of inspirational people such as Mother Theresa and Martin Luther King. We thought about their qualities and why they had such an impact on the lives of so many people. We used Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech and created our own, thinking about our own hopes and dreams. There were so many excellent and thoughtful ideas! After completing our sculptures last week, we have evaluated our work, reflecting on the things that went well and how we could make changes. They look great!
Well done for such a brilliant start to Year 5. Enjoy the half term break.
Miss Ottowell and Mrs Dove.

Year 6 Latest News
Fri 15 Oct 2021Year 6 have been busy finishing their Greek pots this week and have had their final Spanish lesson before the half term holiday. In maths, we have been looking at short division and building on what we already know to start giving remainders as fractions and decimals! In English, we have been looking at levels of formality and how to correctly punctuate speech. It has been a fantastic term and we are so pleased with how well the children are doing and how hard they are working. We hope you all have a lovely two weeks off! See you in November!

Year 3 Latest News
Fri 15 Oct 2021This week Year 3 have been completing their first R.E. topic called “Beliefs and questions”. We were really lucky when Mr. Roper came into Year 3 to teach us a lesson all about how the Ten Commandments can be used today to guide us in our lives. It was really great to have someone so knowledgeable in class. We thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. Our next topic after the half term is all about Asia and particularly India, China and Japan. See what you can find out over the holidays.
