Year 3 News

This week we have continued with place value in maths and now working with numbers to 1000. In English we have started our new unit of writing a newspaper based on the Croods discovery of fire and we have worked hard learning all new Rainbow Grammar colours. In Topic we have started to think like Archaeologists and look into things that were found in Scara Brae and what that told us about Stone Age life, we even did a description Independent Write with all our Historical knowledge. In Science, we studied rocks to find different properties. Next week, we have Harvest Festival and our Reading parent workshop, we are looking forward to another busy week. Here are this weeks spellings too. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
