World Environment Day - 5th June

World Environment Day

These activities will help you to think about how we can look after our world and the environment we live in.

  • Create a poster to encourage people to look after our planet and environment.

  • Create a leaflet to explain how humans are affecting the world in good and not so good ways.

  • Have you got any ideas of things you could do or make, to help our environment?

This year's theme is biodiversity. Biodiversity refers to the variety of life. It is seen in the number of species in an ecosystem or on the entire Earth. Biodiversity gets used as a measure of the health of biological systems, and to see if there is a danger that too many species become extinct.
